I've got a new EP. It's a collection of demos I recorded on my mobile phone using a software called 'Alon MP3 dictaphone'. The EP contains 10 short songs (17 Min.) and is only available as a free download.

I've started working on my next album. I have 4 songs almost ready and a few more in the pipeline. As i see it now, the release date will probably be around October 2009 :-)

A few things:

• The radio performance @ 106 was re-scheduled to August 4th.- canceled (sorry)
• I think i broke my own record with the amount of traffic i got to the site during the last 2 days - this was of course due to the article in Ynet - check out the comments - i think they are funny :-)
• More statistics: After a few weeks and a few reviews -  Swim was downloaded 600 times. I don't know what you think, but i'm really happy with that.
• Next Gig: 18.8 @ The Music house, Jerusalem. Free entrance of course.
• Amit Erez has uploaded 2 songs from the Basement gigs, one of them is our version of Bjork's "All is full of love" - Check it.

Finally, after six months of changes and delays i'm proud to present my new album 'Swim'.
It was all recorded and produced at my bedroom studio. when needed, i got a little help from my virtual friend Jesse Cohen. The LP was mastered by Oren Pildus.

Swim release date + Special basement gigs

Finally, i'm glad to announce that the release date of my new LP Swim is set to 12.5.05
The cd will be released as a special edition cd (with a live bonus disc) and as a free downloadable mp3.
The live cd will only be available to those who spend their money on me (fair enough, isn't it?)

The release will be promoted with 2 special gigs in Tel Aviv on the 21st and 22nd of June @ Art Space
Each of the two nights will be warmed up by two basement artists and will also have two special guests playing on stage with me.

It's been a while since my last updated.
First of all, the new EP is no longer an EP - it's more like an LP and it's called 'Swim', I'm currently in the last stages of mixing. First mastering session will probably take place at the beginning of next week.
Also, the plan is to release 'Falling (Joni Mitchell song)' as the first single sometime in the next few weeks.
We are filming a video clip for that song - I'm soooooo excited, it's my first one (it's about time,huh?)
People have been asking me about gigs - i really don't know right now, i was so busy recording that new album that i couldn't think of performing at the same time.
Promise I will get back to it sometime in the very very near future - stay tuned.

A new review was published on Ynet - it refers to a new song from the forthcoming album ,called 'Down in a second' - you can also listen to the song on that page - Enjoy.

Lots of new things..
* Started rehearsing with Shai-li for our gigs together,she playes violin and i play acoustic guitar. We had one gig in 'Klal' a few weeks ago that went really smooth.... feels so good to be back on stage with such a good backup.

* Next gig - Erev Bama 11/11/03 Tmuna theatre Tel Aviv. We'll give a 25 min. set.
* The album is in its mastering process. the cover is ready (designed by this talented girl) - I still don't have a release date for it but it will probably be sometime in December.

* I've uploaded 'Once' to stage. it's the first "release" from my upcoming album. mixed by David Peretz.

* The Singer /Songwriter collection from AudioCollage is set to be released on the 16/11/03. You can find more details here.

* Rotem Or's mini album (that i co-produced with her) was finally released. you can (and you should...) buy it online here.

Uploaded another remix of 'Spiders and demons' - elektro/dub.... one of my personal favorite remixes of Omri Levy songs of all times... really,this can go on looping forever in my headphones.It was remixed by XBF (a.k.a Shai Levy,my brother).
The cd is almost finished,probably another song left to record and two more to mix. details/tracklist/cover art to be announced in the next few weeks.

This is something i've never done before (sharing sketches and demoes with ppl i don't know), but then i said: well,fuck it! ppl should take it as a demo and not as a final work. this is how i work and i think it's sometimes very nice to see how a song is born and developed during time.
So that's it... no apologies about this... promise.

Didn't have time to update the site although i see that there are a few people (probably the same ones) checking this site for updates. so i decided to dedicate some time to update,upload some new songs,covers,ideas... the thing is,there is too much going on in my life at the moment and yet - nothing that i can share. i record a lot of demos on my minidisc,lots of texts but my computer @ home refuses to co-operate with me. so i'll take it to the tecnician next week.
I desperately need some time off work, to stay home and record some stuff.... anyway,that's not the place for that.

I might update my blog as well and add some features to this site.
